Lindner Capital Advisors (LCA) announced today that Mary Pitts is associating with the Atlanta-based investment advisory firm as an independent advisor.

"Pitts is a results-driven professional with 24 years of experience in financial planning and investment management," said Robert Lindner, CEO of LCA. "We are thrilled that she has joined our team."

Pitts is an experienced financial consultant, most recently at Raymond James where she was a member of the Financial Advisors Council. Prior to Raymond James, she spent 12 years serving clients at Robinson Humphrey.

Her career has included institutional trading and portfolio management. She was one of the first recipients of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional certification. She was also chosen by IAFP (International Association for Financial Planning) and the College of Financial Planning as one of the first individuals to be interviewed and to be accepted to the Registry for Financial Planners.

Pitts graduated from Stetson University with a B. A. in English. As an undergraduate, she traveled abroad to study honors English and honors Linguistics at the University of Wales. She holds a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Woodrow Wilson College of Law. She is a member of the Georgia Bar and is an experienced arbitrator for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
