Delray Beach, FL, November 5, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert D. Chapin, Founding Partner of Chapin, Ballerano & Cheslack, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in tax, trusts and estate law.

Robert D. Chapin is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Virginia Law School. He has practiced law in Delray Beach since 1970. In 1987, the Florida Bar certified Mr. Chapin in the area of Wills, Trusts, and Estates. Mr. Chapin concentrates his practice in the areas of tax and estate planning, charitable planning, and estate and trust administration.

In 1983, Mr. Chapin was elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He is a member of the College's Professional Responsibility Committee. In 1997, Mr. Chapin was elected as an Academician of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Counsel.

Mr. Chapin has lectured for the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and the International Academy of Trust and Estate Counsel on various tax and estate planning topics.

Mr. Chapin has been actively involved in the Delray Beach community since 1970. He has served as President of the South Palm Beach Bar Association, a Director of the Delray Beach Kiwanis Club, President of Planned Parenthood of South Palm Beach County, Chairman of Delray Beach's Beach Restoration Committee, Director of the Beach Property Owner's Association, and as a member of the Delray Beach City Council.

Mr. Chapin is currently the President Emeritus of Old School Square, Inc., Senior Warden and Chancellor of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Delray Beach, and a Director of The Duncan Conference Center in Delray Beach.
